    Abstract: 電子郵件已在人類溝通行為中扮演著越見重要的角色,本文即探討使用此一新興傳媒時應注意的禮節與效益。除了界定網際禮儀之外,作者還將介紹傳送和回覆電子郵件應注意的規範,同時亦建議讀者善用情緒符號以避免誤解,並應用字句縮寫來提升傳輸效率。文後作者將舉證一個個案來陳述電子郵件使用禮儀的校園實況,希望藉由此一個案的說明以觸發大眾對電子郵件使用禮儀的重視,並期許加速促成網際空間的社會規範,更有效地發揮此一傳媒的功能。
    Electronic mail has been playing a more and more important role in human communication activities. This paper is aimed at exploring critical issues while using this new media. The author firstly presents the definition of E-mail etiquette, then introduces some common rules of sending and receiving E-mails. Skillfully utilizing smilies, intensifiers, and abbreviations are recommended in the cyperspace environment. The paper is wrapped up by a University campus case to explain how E-mail etiquette works in real life.
