    摘要: 現有研究關於謝雪漁(1871-1953)的研究,主要從漢學、通俗文藝、同文政策、東亞論述等議題,用以討論日治時期謝雪漁的漢文、漢學書寫與政治理念。承繼先行研究的啟發,筆者則是想進一步探究,謝雪漁處在帝國殖民的時空氛圍下,如何透過對中國歷史、文化的連結與書寫,表達出對中國與日本的觀看以及身分想像。筆者將以謝雪漁在日治時期所寫的三篇漢文小說:〈三世英雄傳〉(1912-1913)、〈櫻花夢〉(1934-1935)、〈日華英雌傳〉(1937-1938)為中心文本,作一歷時性的觀察。本論文的問題意識雖是以中國與日本的對話開啟討論,但更深層的目的卻是關於謝雪漁在不同時空情境下,對世界的想像、對中國的態度、對自我身分的思考,特別是作者為台灣提出什麼樣的詮釋。
    Current researches on the traditional literati Sie Syue-yu`s multiple identities and backgrounds are mainly from issues of Sinology, popular culture-writing, the Same-Culture policy and the discussion in East Asia to discuss Sie`s Sinology, Sinophone Writing and political philosophy. Inherited and inspired by prior studies, I would like to further explore how Sie Syue-yu viewed the "traditional" culture and identity which was broken by Imperialism when standing on the position of "Taiwan" in Imperial colonized period. Therefore, my attempt is to discuss three novels of Si no logy by Sie Syue-yu: "San Sh Ing Syong Jhuan" (1912-1913), " Ing Hua Meng " ( 1934-1 935 ) and "R Hua Ing Cih Jhuan " (1937-1938) as the main text to discuss how he used the "traditional capital" to translate and edit the culture and identity of " selfness" , and how he interpreted "Taiwan".
