    Title: 從校務研究出發探討政治大學大學生的資訊系統需求
    A Study of Undergraduates` Perspectives on the Function Needs of Student Information System at Chengchi University

    Abstract: 在高等教育中,資訊為決策制定和決策支援系統的核心,本研究欲探討在決策支援系統的情境之下,高等教育院校學生對於校務資料系統的使用需求,欲了解當使用者為政大的大學生時,學生對於校務資料系統的資訊需求,目的在於將學生的意見作為未來在建置之校務資料系統的參考,明確指引該系統建置的目標和方向。
    臺灣高等教育目前在面對內部和外部環境的諸多困境,建立完備的校務資料系統並妥善運作之,有其必要性。但是,現行的校務研究大部分著重於既有資料的分析與決策制定,而非聚焦於校務平台使用者的需求調查,故本研究藉由相關的文獻回顧、焦點座談,以及深度訪談的方式,了解校務資料系統的使用者為政治大學大學生時的需求層面,以及此些層面中,具體的資訊和功能內容。
    奠基於研究過程,本研究發現政大在校的大學生在校務系統中至少有四大層面的需求,分別為:校內課業、課外活動、就業資訊和財務資訊層面,而對應於此四項層面則有十個次面向的具體資訊和功能的需求。依據研究結果:(1)未來平台的設計可依據現有的分類可再細緻化、(2)加強相同或似系統之間的連結、(3)設置校務平台各系統的資訊地圖、(4)平台設計與使用者需求應符合、(5)增設雙向互動的功能;再者,可增加其他利害關係人對於校務平台使用需求的探詢、以訪談結果為基礎的問卷設計,並且在每次改善或完成校務資料系統後,進行使用者滿意度調查。
    Information is the core of decision-making and Decision Support System in higher education. This research’s objective is to understand National Chengchi University’s undergraduate students’ needs for student information systems (student administrative systems), in the context of decision making system. The purpose is to use students’ opinions as references, goals and directions for the enhancement of student information system (SIS).
    Higher Education in Taiwan is confronted by numerous challenges from both internal and external environments. These pressures augment the necessity for the creation and operation of complete and functional SISs. However, current research on SISs mostly focus on analyzing available data and decision-making, rather than surveying SIS users’ needs. This research attempts to understand undergraduate students’ needs for National Chengchi University’s SIS, and the specific informational and functional aspects of those needs, through the review of related literatures, focus groups, and in-depth interviews.
    The results of this study reveal at least four aspects of undergraduate students’ needs for the use of National Chengchi University SIS, these include: academic courses, extracurricular activities, career information and finance information. Within these aspects, there are ten secondary dimensions matching specific informational and functional needs. According to the research results, the following suggestions can be derived: (1) the design of SISs in the future should be further refined in accordance with current categories; (2) connection between same or similar systems should be enhanced; (3) information maps for all SISs should be created; (4) the design of the SISs should be consistent with user needs; (5) two-way interaction functions should be increased. Future research should attempt to, explore the needs of additional SIS stakeholders, design and conduct surveys based on the research results of this study, create and implement user satisfaction surveys after the completion of every SIS improvement.
