    摘要: 近松門左衛門的殉情作品，可謂近世日本文學之代表，《曾根崎心中》堪稱其殉情作品之代表名作。本論文以《曾根崎心中》為例，探討其中所見之殉情思想，考察日本人對死亡之認知。其後再自佛教的觀點，論述殉情與佛教思想之關聯。期藉拙論，釐清日本人對死亡之獨特見解，闡明殉情思想與佛教思想之差異。並期藉此研究，對理解日本的殉情思想與其宗教文化之研究能有所助益。
    When it comes to Japanese literary works in the Edo period, Chikamatsu Monzaemon’s works about suicide for frustrated love might come to many people’s mind. In those works about suicide for frustrated love, Sonezaki Shinju might be the most representative one. In this paper, Sonezaki Shinju as an example, thoughts of suicide for frustrated love, the Japanese view of death, and relations between suicide for frustrated love and Buddhism from the Buddhist view are discussed. This paper aims to clarify the unique Japanese view of death, and also to clarify the difference between thoughts of suicide for frustrated love and Buddhist thoughts. It would be a pleasure if this paper helps the understanding of thoughts of suicide for frustrated love and research on religion and culture in Japan.
