    Abstract: 21世紀初,正向心理學興起。心理學的研究趨勢,正式從原先強調人類的病態行為研究,派典轉移到研究人類原本即具有的健康、優勢長處、正向行為和成就表現等問題。素有「正向心理學之父」尊稱的馬汀‧塞利格曼(Martin E. P. Seligman)教授,也在其新近著作中宣稱正向心理學應該是一門研究幸福感(well-being)而不只是快樂(happiness)的科學。因此,本書即是透過引經據典,延伸闡述正向心理學的研究報告與心得,並提出筆者對「幸福感」研究的新主張──「幸福金字塔模型」理論,作為本書的學術理論基礎,同時據以說明造成不幸福的來源、如何獲得幸福的方法,以及追求永續幸福的應有作為。期許每位讀者都能經由閱讀本書及實際演練每章的練習作業,獲得一個圓滿的幸福人生。
