The purpose of this study was to investigate advantages and disadvanage of four two-dimensional classified system of sociometric status had proposed by Peery (1979), Coie, Coppotelli and Dodge (1982), Newcomb and Bukowski (1983) and Coie and Dodge (1988). 154 third- and fifth-grade children served as subjects at three time-intervals during four monthes. It explored the discriminant validity and tenporal stability of four classified models. The results indicated that none of these was a cerfect classified scheme, so we proposed some modifications. The models of Newcomb and Bukowski (1983) and Coie and Dodge (1988) were the better choices.
