    Title: 我國大學校院募款績效之相關研究

    Abstract:   本研究之主要目的在探討大學院之募款投入、募款策略與募款績效之關係。內容可分為三部份:(1)瞭解我國大學校院募款之現況;(2)瞭解公私立大學校院之募款投入、募款策略與募款績效之差異;(3)探討大學校院背景變項、募款投入、募款策略與募款績效之關係。
      本研究以台灣地區大學與獨立學院為對象,但不包含軍警背景之大學或獨立學院,有效樣本56份(公立學校30所,私立學校26所),其中只有32所學校具募款經驗(14所公立學校,18所私立學校)。以研究者自編之「大學校院募款問卷」進行調查研究。研究中所使用的統計方法包括次數分配、百分比統計、獨立樣本t考驗、皮爾森積差相關與多元逐步迴歸分析等。
      本研究的主要結果如下:
      一、未來大學校院之募款競爭將愈趨激烈
      二、我國募款人力之投入仍嫌不足
      三、我國大學校院之募款方興未艾
      四、私立大學校院之募款投入較公立大學校院積極
      五、私立大學校院所使用之募款策略較為多元且頻繁
      六、減少對大學校院財務的保護,可促使其募款投入更為積極
      七、教有部募款補助政策已見成效
      八、大學校院之募款績效與其規模相關
      九、大學校院校長的參與能提昇募款績效
      十、募款作業經費的投入有助募款績效的提昇
      十一、較常使用人際溝通募款策略之學校,其募款績效較佳
      十二、社交活動募款策略的使用能提昇募款績效
      本研究針對上述研究結果加以討論,並據以提出對主管機關、大學校院及後續研究之建議。
      The purpose of this research is to explore the relationship between the three variables of institutional commitments, fund-raising strategies, and fund-raising effectiveness under the current circumstances in universities and colleges. There are three parts in this research: (1).To understand the current university fund-raising situation in Taiwan; (2). To understand the difference between institutional commitments, fund-raising strategies, and fund-raising effectiveness, especially between public and private universities; (3) To explore the relationship between the following four variables: the backgrounds variables, institutional commitments, fund-raising strategies and fund-raising effectiveness .
      The population of this research are all the universities and independent colleges in Taiwan except the universities with military or police backgrounds. There are 56 valid samples, including 30 public universities and 26 private ones, but only 32 of them possessed the fund-raising experience, including 14 public universities and 18 private ones. The questionnaires of "Universities Fund-raising Questionnaire" for this research is developed by the researcher. The statistical methods for this research included frequency distribution, percentage statistics, independent sample t-test, Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple stepwise regression analysis, etc.
      The major findings of this study are as follows,
      1. The competition between universities fund-raising will be fiercer in the future.
      2. The universities of Taiwan are still insufficient of fund-raising staffing.
      3. There is still large room to grow in university fund-raising in Taiwan.
      4. The private universities are more aggressive than the public ones in institutional commitments.
      5. The fund-raising strategies adopted by the private universities are more diverse and applied more frequently.
      6. The decrease of the financial protection for universities will lead to more aggressiveness in institutional commitments.
      7. The fund-raising additional policy designed by The Ministry of Education becomes effective.
      8. The fund-raising effectiveness is positively relative to the student size.
      9. University principal`s participation will increase the fund-raising effectiveness.
      10. More financial investment in fund-raising will help to increase fund-raising effectiveness.
      11. The more frequent the interpersonal communication strategy is used, the better the fund-raising effectiveness will be.
      12. The social activities fund-raising strategy has a positive influence on fund-raising effectiveness.
      In conclusion, the researcher presents some suggestions for increasing universities fund-raising effectiveness according to the finding from the research. For the future research, the researcher proposes some suggestions after reviewing the limitations of this study.
