Abstract:	第一章：概述，本章主旨在說明一般公認審計準則與審計之關係，以及一般公認審計準則的起源及發展。第二章：一般公認審計準則的解釋：本章主要是依據AICPA所發行的Statement on Auding Standards（NO.1-12）解釋一般公認審計準則的含義，並說明其應用。第三章：一般公認審計準則的理論背景，本章主要是從審計哲學的觀點，探討一般公認審計準則的理論依據。第四章：一般公認審計準則的展望：說明一般公認審計準則未來發展的趨勢及理想。第五章：我國一般公認審計準則的評述。
