    Title: 我國空中大學女生參與動機取向之研究

    Abstract: 提要內容:
    本研究的目的在研究婦女參與空中大學之學習是基於什麼樣的理由,這些理由可否歸納出基本之建構,成為婦女進修的動機取向。若此基本建構存在,空大女生在動機取向上會不會表現出某種整體性的偏向趨勢,這個趨勢又是如何。並進一步探討空大女生的參與動機取向,是否會因為學習者本身的年齡、教育程度、職業等級、收入及婚姻狀況等社會人口變項之不同,而有所差異。研究對象,係取自空中大學七十六學年度第二學段的全修與選修之女性學生,依分區比例隨機抽樣的原則,寄發問卷1280份,回收930份,回收率達73%其中有效問卷859份,可用率為92%。研究工具為研究者自行修訂之「婦女參與繼續教育動機問卷」。本研究之統計分析,係採用「次數分配」、「因素分析」、「T考驗」、「單因子變異數分析」等方法。根據統計分析的結果,本研究有下列幾項發現:
    一、典型的空大女生為年齡在30歲以下,高中(職)畢業,離開正規學校約5~15年,從事公、商、工、教等工作,社經地位屬中低階層,未婚。空大已婚女生的家庭狀況大致如下:丈夫學歷高、子女人數少、丈夫對其參與進修活動抱持支持態度。
    二、空大女生參與理由之基本建議為:自立與利地、認知與成長、職業進展、家庭幸福、社交關係、刺激或逃避、自尊與人尊、他人影響等八個動機取向。其中以「認知與成長」動機為最普通、最強烈的動機,而以「自尊與人尊」、「他人影響」動機最弱。
    三、社會人口變項與空大女生參與動機取向之關係:
    (一)在年齡方面:年輕者傾向於「職業進展」、「社交關係」、「刺激或逃避」、「自尊興人尊」的動機取向,年紀較大者則傾向於「認知與成長」動機取向。
    (二)在教育程度方面:教育程度較低者較傾向於「職業進展」、「社交關係」的動機取向。
    (三)在職業等級方面:職業等級較低者較傾向於「職業進展」、「社交關係」動機取向。
    (四)在收入方面:收入較少有較傾向於「職業進展」、「社交關係」、「刺激或逃避」、「自尊與人尊」動機取向。
    (四)在婚姻狀況方面:未婚者則傾向於「職業進展」、「社交關係」、「刺激或逃避」動機取向,已婚者則傾向於「家庭幸福」動機取向。
    基於上述研究發現,僅提供下列建議,以供國內婦女繼續教育發展之參考。
    一、協助解決參與不利婦女的參與障礙,以普及教育參與。
    二、依據女性的學習需求,研定婦女繼續教育政策與計畫。
    三、針對不同年齡層的特殊需要,建立重點互異的之婦女繼續教育的體系。
    四、建立輔導制度以協助婦女的成長與發展。
    五、加強倡導終身教育理念,貫徹實施成人進修教育。
    六、成人進修教育應秉持開放精神,以增進教育機會均等並促進社會流動。
    七、呼籲社會以兩位平等和諧的精神,鼓勵婦女繼續進修追求自我成長。
