    Title:
Other Titles: Study of Label with Moderate Gray on Image Maps
    Authors:
Image Map;Image Processing
    Date: 2001-09
    Issue Date: 2008-11-18 09:58:03 (UTC+8)
Labeling on map usually given manually in the past. it required a great deal of time and was not efficient in terms of cost. Also, the labels are often marked in black, which did not show up very well in the black and white images where the tone was very dark. These issues are therefore, focused on in the next paragraphs and hopefully, with the aid of computers, labels on image map could have clear appearance. When an object strongly reflects and radiates energy at a certain band, at the same time there is one that barely reflects and releases energy. Thus, a high contrast is resolved. This will make the maps easier to read. The research will base this character, and try to make the labeling computerized. This will result in a more appropriate contrast on both the views and labels. Thus, the labels will he seen more clearly interpretable despite their brightness value.
