    Abstract: 　　台灣自1960年代以來，歷經三十多年長期經濟發展，在社會階級結構方面產生了鉅大變遷，其中一個重要的現象是所謂「中產階級」的興起；另一方面，自1980年代中期以來，台灣的社會政治環境亦展開了民主轉型的過程。許多研究者對於社會階級結構變遷與台灣政治轉型之關係的普遍看法是：「中產階級」的興起，是民主轉型背後的主要推動力。此一論點似乎意味「中產階級」的政治態度具有異於其它階級的特殊性，但實際上是否如此呢？在此一討論背景下，引發本論文試圖以實質資料對「中產階級」的政黨傾向，及其原因做一具體的分析，期能對此一新興現象有進一步的了解。本論文所欲探討的問題有三：
