    Abstract: 本計畫申請之國科會重點議題為跨學門主要議題之一的「近二十年的宗教理論與方 法」。配合本所2008-2010 年三年期整合型跨宗教研究計畫,以「全球化(脈絡)的亞 洲宗教」為主題,「亞洲社會宗教的身份認同、社群與文化跨界」為重心,購置猶太教、 基督宗教、伊斯蘭教、印度教、佛教、道教、民間宗教的近代與現代宗教研究相關著作。 規劃之研究圖書集結後,期使政治大學成為世界研究亞洲宗教全球化的重鎮。校際圖書 典藏與研究交流上,國內相關大學宗教系所及相關宗教學術機構所成立之神學院、佛教 研修學院、道學院等,也能因本校藏書豐厚得以滿足其研究與教學所需。本計畫圖書典 藏將涵蓋上述宗教自二十世紀至今,因應全球化變遷與挑戰的回應與相關議題。本計畫 配合本所與本校進行中的重點研究方向、師資結構與碩博士生培育之規劃方向。本校圖 書館與本所將擴大後續經營與推廣服務,以期促進國內外宗教研究者資源流通與共享。 計畫執行與採購流程上,政治大學與本校圖書館均承諾支援本案計畫之行政措施、軟硬 體設備及研究圖書購置。
    The topic of this project, entitled “The Globalization of Asian Religions: The Identity, Community, and Cross-cultures in Asian Religions,” fits the category of “The Theory and Methodology of Religious Studies,” one of the themes stipulated by the NSC. The project intends to purchase publications on the proposed subject in the context of Asian Religions, including Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism and popular beliefs. When a full collection of proposed books and journals is completed, it will enable the National Chengchi University to become an important research center of the globalization of Asian religions. It will also facilitate other institutes of religious studies in Taiwan in their teaching and research activities. This collection of publications includes religious studies which are related to problems of globalization of Asian religions. The entire project dovetails with the teaching and research aims of the Graduate Institute of Religious Studies, National Chengchi University. It matches well with the Institute’s faculty specialties and the University’s developmental priorities. The University library has agreed to open its new resources for public accessibility. The University is also committed to providing administrative assistance and computer facilities to complete the whole project.
