Taiwan’s government today strongly advocates the aging groups to participate in leisure activities after retirement, among which ecotourism environmental experience enable them to relieve pressure physically and mentally, feel pleased and pursue happiness. The study attempts to import interactive technology to investigate the future contextual design of the aging groups’ ecotourism experience, so as to lead aging groups join the ecotourism actively, and then they will feel happy and forget age. The study falls into three phases: (1) field survey is adopted to understand environmental information; (2) questionnaires are adopted for the survey on the aging groups’ ecotourism motivation and demand for services; (3) cultural probe is employed to collect the records about aging groups’ trip experience and mental emotion. The results show that interactive concept must cover easy learning of ecological knowledge, comfortable traveling experienced by five senses, as well as real-time cloud-sharing services so as to meet the aging group’s ecotourism experience need. Interactive concept proposed in the study can provide reference for future the aging groups’ ecotourism aids design or related researches, making the aging groups achieve the purpose of both ecological learning and relaxation in ecotourism through the interactive concept.
