    Title: The Australian e-Government strategy development and outcome

    Abstract: The Australian e-Government service has been developed since 1997. After three strategic develop plans, the e-Government service in Australia has progressively respond to the needs of the public, business and government. Although Australia does not achieve on better e-Government ranking than advanced countries in Europe and Taiwan in Brown University`s or Waseda University`s report, increased emphasis on service has led to outstanding performance. The e-Government ranking also indicates Australian e-Government service platform has provided varieties of service. Therefore, this article will introduce all three phases of Australian e-Government strategic plan, performance and future challenges for better understanding the outcome of service-oriented e-Government development.
