    Abstract: 在政治學中，經濟發展程度與政治參與關係基本呈現正相關。亦即在經濟發展逐漸成熟階段，中小企業、私營經濟與市場機制之完善，不僅促成經濟持續成長，而且使社會精英與中產階級興起，最終促成其政治參與意願和企圖提升。其原因：一方面，中產階級在經濟富裕後，期望能享有更多政治自由與實踐政治理想，因而必須直接參與政治運作；另一方面，對企業經營者而言，直接與間接介入政治，在於保護產業利益，優先分享訊息與資源，並期獲取更大經濟利益。
