Abstract:	三性說（Trisvabhāvanirdeśa）在唯識學整個哲學系統中扮演核心的角色，可以說，唯識思想對於錯誤認識與真實間的關係以及解脫可能性等等認識論、存有學及解脫學議題，皆可藉由三性說得到恰當的說明。本計劃首先指出過去學者對於三性說研究不足之處主要在於對於三性說的歷史發展缺乏足夠的認識。其次，筆者提議將三性說的發展區分為四期，並嘗試追索在這些發展背後主要的哲學議題為何。筆者主張：《攝大乘論》「清淨依他起性」的概念扮演了關鍵的角色。環繞這個概念，推動三性說發展主要有以下三個哲學議題：（1）依他起性終極來說是否必須滅除；（2）清淨依他起性與圓成實性的關係為何；（3）智慧的位置如何安排在三性說中。筆者希望藉由仔細研究唯識學主要論典與註解，對唯識三性說的不同模型以及彼此之間的遞嬗，進行全盤的檢討。
