Abstract:	本文嘗試從宗教性的角度，以及現今學界對於儒家宗教性面向、意義的界定，重新看待荀子思想中的「天」與「禮」。目前學界對儒家宗教性的討論不斷深化，提供研究者進一步討論的基礎，有其貢獻；另一方面，意義的界定則可以鬆動，有助儒家宗教性的多元呈現。宗教性的談法，就人天生具有的前提下，探討荀子思想的宗教性。筆者關注的焦點：荀子在面對例如「天道」、「死亡」這一類非現實中可完全掌握、理解的議題，有專論〈天論〉、〈禮論〉二篇，值得探討箇中原由，從宗教性的角度，盼能更進入荀子的思想世界。
