    Abstract: 本文檢視了澳門的歷史與現狀，對於發展旅遊休閒所提供的各類服務，肯定現有多元語言的豐富性，但也建議澳門當局可借鑑奧地利維也納之所以成為世人心中最宜居城市的特點，結合澳門處於東西文化交流的優越位置，闢建東西文化博物館，開創民族音樂節，規劃中華文字博物館，以發揚華夏文字視覺思維的特性，及善用音樂超越語言溝通的功能。因為廣義的語言服務應擴大至文字溝通、符號（或圖像）溝通、手語溝通、音樂溝通。發展世界旅遊休閒中心或成為最宜居城市的關鍵，則在於商家業者或一般民眾須有開放與包容的風氣，這樣才能達到近悅遠來絡繹不絕。
