Abstract:	目前中國大陸有關民族團結教育的法律、法規，在中央與地方各級行政區等層級中，除新疆維吾爾自治區一地頒布《新疆維吾爾自治區民族團結教育條例》外，其他各級政區的人大及其常委會均無訂定類似法規。新疆地區之所以制定此條例，主要是該地區的特殊、複雜環境所致，兼之2009 年「7‧5 事件」造成重大傷亡與損失，地方當局為促進民族團結所特別訂定的法規，希藉此帶來新疆社會的長期和諧、穩定和發展。本文以該自治區的民族團結教育法規為例，探討該地區此項法規的立法經過、條例主要內容，並對此一特定背景因素制定的法規予以評析。
