Abstract:	以往認為，人口問題為一國內政，和其他國家無涉，但學界有論點打破此觀念，提出一國國內性別比例失衡將有可能成為區域安定的重大威脅，並以此衍申，表示中國大陸性別比例失衡問題未來將會威脅區域安全。本文目的就是在檢證此論點的周延程度，並探討中國大陸性別比例失衡問題是否將對區域安全產生影響。本文從中共1950年代的人口問題與政策作為研究起點，首先探討中國大陸當前嚴重性別失衡問題的前因後果，其次敘述學界就性別比例問題對社會穩定、區域安全影響的研究論點，最後再以宏觀角度進行論點檢證與討論，並分析中國威脅區域安全的相關因素。本文發現，性別比例問題對區域安全確有影響，但尚屬潛在因素，中國大陸性別比例失衡對區域安全的衝擊亦然，探討中共對區域穩定的威脅應要考量更多層面，因此，這項議題必須要以長期性的眼光關注，而此項命題的周延程度必須進一步加強。
