The narration of autobiographies usually contains the real and the imaginary parts, furthermore, the narrative identities are often not consistent with the texts of autobiographies. They usually represent a variety of identities, such as the author, subject of narration and self. This paper will probe into the issue of self identity acceptance of women according to the theories of self construction. It will take Russian women autobiographical writings of the early twentieth as the analytical framework to analyze how these female writers constructed and identified their identities in their autobiographies and memoirs.
