Abstract:	台灣由於過去獨特的歷史脈絡與社會環境，民眾的公共參與結社活動曾受到壓抑與限制，直至一九八０年代末期後，民間的力量方始湧現，透過各種形式的參與及結社方式，展現出民間蟄伏已久的能量與潛力。臺灣服務型第三部門的範圍甚廣，類型亦多樣，本文僅選擇「福利服務型」的NPO作為檢視的對象，以實證數據論述該次部門的特質樣貌及其意涵。
