Abstract:	本文從三個角度切入兩岸關係；他們分別是：一、兩岸的政治社會經濟文化差異，與差異性論述，即強調兩岸「中國人」之間共通性或「臺灣」的特殊性，以建構中國或臺灣國家「想像共同體」；其二、兩岸的國家實力以及權力論述，以臺灣與中國大陸作為兩個「政治實體」的現實為出發點，強調雙方的和戰，以及結盟、對抗的關係；其三、關係論述，強調兩岸應建立「一個中國」、「兩個國家」，「特殊關係」，或者企圖以其他各種方案，達成兩岸的政治和解。這三個不同的角度，構成了思考兩岸關係的不同立足點，且三者間也有著複雜的互動。由於兩岸關係的複雜性，如果雙方的民族主義問題未能妥善處理，則中國大陸「民主化」並不能保證兩岸關係得到輕易的解決。
