    Abstract: Keynes(1936)早期的研究認為,當專業經理人在做專業判斷時,如果他在乎別人對其能力的評價,則會有「跟隨群體」的現象發生。Jensen & Meckling(1976)的研究更指出,在管理權與所有權分離的企業中,代理人(agent)與主理人(principal)在代理關係下,具有追求自我最大效用的問題,而此追求自我私利的行為與個人的聲譽有關。基於個人聲譽的考慮,管理者在投資專案決策時,理論上亦應會有類似Keynes(1936)所描述的「跟隨群體」的一窩蜂行為(herd behavior)發生。本研究即是嘗試由聲譽模式的觀點,去推論與解釋管理者在投資專案選擇時的一窩蜂現象,並以台灣前五百大製造業的投資專案選擇行為驗證理論模式的推論。最後,本研究將對一窩蜂行為可能對產業造成影響深入探討,並就研究結果提出具體的建議。
