    Abstract: 本篇研究計畫主要是在探討當平衡處理集區設 計(BalancedTreatment Block Designs)不存在時,如何尋找A 型最佳設計.平衡處理集區設計之特性為其訊息矩陣(Information Matrix)為一完全對稱(Completely Symmetric)之矩陣,到 目前為止,絕大多數之最佳設計其訊息矩陣均具 有此特性,但平衡處理集區設計在大多數情況下( 亦即不同之集區個數,集區大小,和試驗處理個數 之組合下)均不存在,於是最接近完全對稱(係指訊 息矩陣而言)之分組處理集區設計(Group Divisible Treatment Designs)便引起許多研究者的興趣.
