    Abstract: 政府機關所建置之網站已成為民眾查詢政府資訊的第一個窗口,有鑑於民眾使用政府機關網站目的在於近用政府資訊,政府資訊公開的內容與功能高度影響民眾對於政府網站的觀感。為瞭解目前政府機關對於因應政府資訊公開與機關檔案申請應用在網站所提供的資訊服務,本文以立意抽樣方式,擇選主管政府資訊公開之法務部,以及與民生相關之內政部為對象,瞭解該機關網站提供之政府資訊內容與呈現方式,並以英美兩國質性相同之機關作為比較分析對象,最終歸納結論與建議,提供我國政府機關改善政府資訊公開網頁服務之參考。
    Government websites have been the first choice for people to retrieve government information. People surf government websites in order to focus on accessing government information. The content and services of information freedom on government websites are deeply influenced by user impression. It is essential to realize the services of freedom of information and official record request on government websites. This paper samples the ways in which Taiwan’s Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Interior processe and publicize information, in comparison with how these are dealt with in the United States and the United Kingdom. In conclusion, the author will advise the civil services in Taiwan on how to improve their websites to which the public can have easier access.
