Abstract:	新產品開發(New product development, NPD)，是一個資源組合的過程(Rumelt, 1984; Barney, 1991)。過去從設計角度探討的相關研究中，較為重視市場面的商品效果(Verona, 1999)，強調功能、介面設計與美觀等因素(Ulrich & Eppinger, 1997)，鮮少提及資源的取得以及取得成本，但此議題在創業初期更顯重要。以資源基礎觀點探討新產品開發的學者，則偏重於「資源組合效率」的提升(Iansiti & Clark, 1994)，企圖加速開發流程、速度，並提高產品的品質與績效(Verona, 1999)。不過，創新產品不僅應「推陳出新」，更強調資源重組(recombination)與新組合(new combination)的實現(Schumpeter, 1934)。但「組合」的相關論述卻過於籠統，並未觸及重組過程的「建構」內涵，也甚少探討投入組合的單一資源，其多重應用的可能性(Baker & Nelson, 2005)。因此，本研究以人類學家Lévi-Strauss(Lévi-Strauss, 1966)提出的拼湊(bricolage)概念，探討台灣翅帆創業團隊的創新商品開發案例，以填補資源基礎觀點的不足。
