    Title: 我國大學生參與書院教育滿意度研究
    A Study on Undergraduate Students` Satisfaction with Residential College Program

    Abstract:   本研究旨在探討我國大學生參與書院教育之滿意度,檢視目前各校實施書院教育之成效,以作為未來我國大專校院推行書院教育之參考。文獻探討博雅教育與通識教育之意涵,住宿學習之理論分析,國外大學之書院教育以及我國書院教育之現況與特色。本研究採問卷調查法,發展「我國大學生參與書院教育滿意度調查問卷」,經過專家問卷評估試題適切性,透過預試結果進行項目分析、信度分析、效度分析,取得問卷的良好信度與效度。利用網路調查法進行正式施測,共回收161份問卷,有效樣本數161份,問卷有效率達100%。資料處理與分析採用描述統計分析、獨立樣本t檢定及單因子變異數分析等方法。

    根據統計分析結果,歸納本研究結論如下:
    一、不同性別之書院學生在硬體設施之滿意度有顯著差異。
    二、女性書院學生在師生互動、住宿品質有較高滿意度。
    三、五所學校之書院教育均落實集中住宿。
    四、半數以上之書院學生參與書院時間超過一年。
    五、不同參與書院時間之學生在書院制度、師生互動、學習能力、生活輔導之滿意度有顯著差異。
    六、九成之書院學生以本科系學業為主,書院教育為輔。
    七、不同書院教育佔總學習時數比率之學生在書院制度、師生互動、學習能力、生活輔導之滿意度有顯著差異。
    八、不同參與書院教育動機之學生在學習能力、生活輔導之滿意度有顯著差異。
    九、小組討論、演講或座談會、教師講課、支援個人興趣發展、專題研究為書院最主要之學習方式。
    十、不同書院主要學習方式在書院制度、硬體設施、師生互動、學習能力、生活輔導之滿意度有顯著差。

      最後依據研究結果,針對辦理書院教育提出具體建議,提供高等教育機構、大學教師、大學生及未來研究之參考。
      The purpose of this study is to survey the undergraduate students` satisfaction with residential college program, and review the outcomes of which, in order to offer relevant suggestions for higher educational institutes. The literature review goes through the meanings of liberal education and general education, analysis of residential learning theories, overseas residential education, and current residential colleges in Taiwan. Questionnaire survey method is adopted. Using expert questionnaire, item analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and reliability analysis to develop “Undergraduate Students` Satisfaction with Residential College Program Questionnaire” and ensure all questions are well-stated and get good degree of reliability and validity. This study uses web-based questionnaire to do the survey. There are 161 respondents, and 161 of them are valid, the usable rate is 100%. All data collected were analyzed by the methods of descriptive statistics, independent t-test and one-way ANOVA.

    The conclusions are as follows:
    1. There are significant gender differences in facilities satisfaction.
    2. Female residential college students show higher satisfaction with teacher-student interaction and dormitory quality.
    3. All five residential colleges practice centralized accommodation.
    4. More than half of the residential college students have participated the residential college for more than one year.
    5. There are significant differences between students who have participated residential college for different periods of time in satisfactions of residential college policy, teacher-student interaction, learning ability and life counseling.
    6. More than 90% of residential college students’ take their major as study priority.
    7. There are significant differences between students who spend different amount of time on residential college education in satisfactions of residential college policy, teacher-student interaction, learning ability and life counseling.
    8. There are significant differences between students with different motivations to join residential college in satisfactions of learning ability and life counseling.
    9. The main learning methods adopted in residential college are group discussion, lecture or workshop, teachers lecture, supporting personal interests and research project.
    10. There are significant differences between different learning methods adopted in residential college in satisfactions of residential college policy, facilities, teacher-student interaction, learning ability and life counseling.

      In the end, based on the conclusion of this study, some suggestions had been proposed to Taiwan higher educational institutes, higher educational faculties, undergraduate students and future research.
