One of the characteristics in contemporary life is the information revolution we can see its influence on the productions and accumulation of knowledge, exchange of message, and the social connection, in short, the information society changes the human existence in a global way. This paper examines the cultural conditions of humanity in becoming, from the perspective of landscape and image; it investigates the informational metamorphosis of contemporary landscape as well as the reconstruction of the existential conditions caused by the formation of landscape. Through the image of labyrinth, it will study a double significance brought by the information society and the web-based/oriented technology: one the one side, the velocity of communication changes the spatial types and the sense of place, on the other side, the novelty and the monotony of connections result in some new situations in a paradoxical way. The lifestyles based on the world-wide-web produce different technics of existence in creating new senses of space-time: memory actuality, and future envelop contemporary human society by way of image labyrinths. As a promised land, the web space is rather a place for producing labyrinth rather than for dwelling.
