    摘要: 本研究的主要目的，在探討刊登前查證方法是否能有效降低新聞中的客觀與主觀錯誤，及提升消息來源對新聞記者、新聞報導及新聞媒介的評價。研究結果發現，刊登前查證制度可以有效降低新聞中的若干客觀錯誤，但無法顯著降低新聞中的主觀錯誤，也無法改善消息來源對新聞記者、報導及媒介的評價。有鑑於此，本研究建議未來的研究不要再探討新聞中的主觀錯誤，因為主觀錯誤是記者和消息來源難有交集的概念。
    未來學術界進行正確性研究，及實務界實施正確性查證時，應放棄主觀錯誤這個概念，只分析新聞的客觀錯誤，才能使消息來源取向的正確性研究，比較真實的反映出新聞的正確率。
    The purpose of this study was to examine whether pre-publication check could improve accuracy in the news. The results indicated that although checking before publication could help reduce objective errors, it failed to reduce subjective errors. It appears from this study that future newsroom accuracy check should ignore subjective error and focus on objective error because the former involves disputed meaning or interpretation which reporters and their sources could hardly reach agreement.
