Abstract: | 本文採用 Koenker 與 Bassett (1978) 所提出的分量迴歸來分析影響新生兒體重的因素, 並與傳統計量方法的結果相比較。 在分量迴歸中, 因為可以求得條件分配中不同分量下的參數估計值, 故有助於我們更清楚的描繪整個出生嬰兒體重的條件分配。 本文的特色為國內外文獻中首次採用 Whang (2004) 提出的經驗概似法來估計分量迴歸, 且實證資料為民國 90 年行政院衛生署的出生證明檔與內政部的戶籍檔兩者的合併, 擁有一般文獻中所沒有的母親健康情形相關的變數。 實證的結果顯示: 在控制母親的懷孕週數之下, 母親的教育程度與婚姻狀態在每個分量下幾乎都是不顯著的; 此和文獻上的結果不同。 母親懷孕上的特殊情形對新生兒出生體重的影響在每個分量皆為負的, 並隨著分量的增加而逐漸變小, 但在 0.9 分量時此效果轉為正的。 母親孕程與產程的特殊處理對新生兒出生體重的影響在每個分量亦為負的, 但是隨著分量的增加而逐漸增大。 此結果顯示, 母親懷孕上的特殊情形與母親孕程與產程的特殊處理應較能合理的解釋影響新生兒出生體重的原 |
