    Title: 台灣各縣市所得水準與所得分配對其國民健康之影響

    Abstract: 本研究欲探討國民健康、所得水準與所得分配之關係,檢視兩者對國民健康是否造成影響,利用內政部戶政司之「中華民國台閩地區人口統計」年報,以及行政院主計處「台灣地區各縣市重要家庭收支指標」之資料,建立台灣地區1998年至2005年23個縣市所得與健康的資料,以標準化總死亡率、男性死亡率、女性死亡率及嬰兒死亡率作為衡量國民健康之指標,平均每人每年可支配所得衡量絕對所得,Gini係數來衡量所得不均度,採固定效果模型,實證分析各縣市所得水準、所得分配與各死亡率間之關係。
    根據實證結果發現,台灣地區絕對所得對各死亡率影響方向為負,而絕對所得之平方,對各死亡率影響符號為正,但均僅對標準化後之國民總死亡率、男性死亡率及女性死亡率影響顯著,對嬰兒死亡率並不顯著,故可知台灣地區除嬰兒之外,絕對所得增加可降低死亡率,改善國民健康,且隨著絕對所得的成長,呈現邊際報酬遞減效果,支持絕對所得假說。而所得分配對各死亡率影響均未達顯著水準,顯示台灣各縣市所得分配對國民健康影響並不顯著,不支持所得不均假說。此結果顯示所得水準的提升對台灣地區國民健康之改善有顯著的貢獻,而所得分配對國民健康並無顯著影響,因此增加經濟弱勢者之所得水準為提升國民健康之有效方法。
