    Title: 為士之道──柳宗元士人論的考察

    Abstract: 柳宗元主張天人之分論,注重以生民為本的世間事務,生民之意成為其政治社會論的起點。子厚認為道體現為從天子至庶人的秩序,法制禮樂是維持此經分秩序的憑藉。在四民社會架構下,所有成員履行符合其分工位置的行為,始能達成秩序的和諧運作。生民之意有待士人、君主等理物者實踐其公共職能,而士人惟有入仕始能承擔理物之職。世間秩序既本諸生民,士人入仕自須以生民為念,從而為士人入仕提供合理性的理據,以提升士人的積極性。子厚進而提出“明與志”之說,強調通過認識與明辨,始能認識道與現實處境,進而採取合理行動,拯濟生民。
