    Title: 居住環境對保險購買行為之影響分析

    Abstract: 本研究旨在探討居住環境因子(包含公園綠地面積與空氣污染指標)對消費者購買意外傷害險行為的影響,並連接過去對於居住環境影響心情與幸福感、心情與幸福感對風險偏好與判斷的作用,以及風險感知與保險決策間關係的文獻。本研究提出假設:優質的居住環境將降低個體風險感知,進而減少其購買意外傷害險的保額。本文以某壽險公司於2020至2023年間實際投保意外傷害險資料為樣本,並輔以環境部提供之空氣品質及縣市政府提供之公園綠地數據。研究首先對全部樣本的保險金額進行敘述統計分析,並依要保人居住縣市之發展程度及長期空氣品質背景進行分區,以利後續深入分析。實證分析針對綠地面積及空氣汙染分別進行,綠地面積部分運用迴歸模型檢視公園綠地面積對意外傷害險保額的影響。結果顯示其影響存在顯著地區差異:兩個極端之高度發展與低度發展城市符合本文假設;然而,整體樣本及中高度發展城市則與本文預期相反;中度發展城市則無統計上顯著影響,此結果揭露綠地的定位與其對居民的重要性對研究結果產生差異。空氣汙染部分以迴歸模型探討空氣污染指標對意外傷害險保額的影響。實證發現長期空氣污染指標與本文假設相反。短期空氣污染指標的影響則受長期空氣品質背景的調節作用:在空氣品質較優的區域符合本文預期;但在空氣品質漸趨惡劣的環境,其影響作用減弱,此現象可能由於居民對一地的情感依附效果,因此降低其風險感知。本文結果共同揭示了居住環境對保險購買行為影響的複雜性與情境依賴性。
    This study examines how residential environmental factors—specifically green space area and air pollution—affect consumers’ accident insurance purchasing behavior. Drawing on prior literature linking residential environment to mood and well-being, and their influence on risk perception and insurance decisions, we hypothesize that better environmental quality reduces risk perception and lowers the insured amount.
    Using accident insurance policy data from 2020–2023, combined with environmental data from government sources, we conduct descriptive and regression analysis by city development level and long-term air quality background. Results for green space show significant regional variation: the hypothesis holds for highly developed and underdeveloped cities, but is reversed for the overall sample and moderately to highly developed cities, with no significant effect in moderately developed cities.
    For air pollution, long-term indicators yield results opposite to the hypothesis, while short-term effects depend on long-term air quality: in cleaner areas, findings match the hypothesis, but effects weaken where air quality has deteriorated, possibly due to residents’ emotional attachment to place. These results underscore the complex, context-dependent nature of environmental influences on insurance behavior.
