Abstract: | 中國的經貿戰略近幾年因應全球政治與經濟變遷而急速調整,這不僅影響到中國的整體經濟發展,也深刻地改變了特定產業的發展格局,特別是電動車產業。隨著全球對於環保與永續發展的重視,電動車產業逐漸成為全球經濟發展重點,尤其在地緣政治衝突的背景下,中國的電動車產業正面臨著前所未有的挑戰。本研究旨在探討中國經貿戰略轉型對電動車產業所帶來的深層影響,特別聚焦於政府政策、技術發展與市場變化三者間的動態互動。研究以新貿易理論為分析框架,探析規模經濟與產品差異化如何透過政策工具被放大,進而影響產業的國際競爭結構。同時,納入破壞性創新理論,探討比亞迪(BYD)與早期的特斯拉(Tesla)如何從邊緣市場切入,以價格與技術簡化優勢顛覆既有成熟產業。透過比亞迪與特斯拉的比較分析,研究進一步探討創新路徑與區域經貿政策如何交織出企業在全球價值鏈中的戰略位置。研究方法結合次級資料蒐集與個案研究,深入剖析中國在推動電動車產業升級過程中所採取的應對策略與實際成果。當前面對地緣政治衝突的不確定性,全球電動車企業積極提升競爭力,中國車企在此賽局中加速推動全球化佈局,以迎接未來的挑戰與機遇。深切期望能透過本研究對中國乃至於全球電動車產業發展得到更深入的解析,為該產業的全球競爭格局與發展趨勢能提供有益的見解與參考。 China’s trade and economic strategy has undergone rapid adjustments in recent years in response to global political and economic transformations. These shifts have not only influenced the country’s overall economic trajectory but also profoundly reshaped the development landscape of specific industries—most notably, the electric vehicle (EV) sector. As environmental sustainability and green transition gain increasing global attention, the EV industry has emerged as a key driver of future economic growth. In the context of intensifying geopolitical tensions, China’s EV industry faces unprecedented challenges.
This study aims to examine the deeper impact of China’s evolving trade strategy on the development of its EV industry, with a particular focus on the dynamic interaction among government policy, technological advancement, and market transformation. The research adopts the framework of New Trade Theory, analyzing how economies of scale and product differentiation are amplified through policy instruments to reshape global industry competition. At the same time, the study incorporates Disruptive Innovation Theory to investigate how firms such as BYD and early-stage Tesla disrupted mature industries by leveraging cost-effective and simplified technologies from peripheral market positions.
Through a comparative case analysis of BYD and Tesla, this research explores how innovation trajectories intersect with regional trade policies to determine firms’ strategic positions within the global value chain. Employing secondary data collection and case study methods, the research further examines China’s industrial upgrading strategies and their tangible outcomes in the EV sector. As geopolitical uncertainties persist, EV manufacturers worldwide are actively enhancing competitiveness, while Chinese automakers accelerate their global expansion in anticipation of future challenges and opportunities. This study aspires to offer deeper insights into the evolution of China’s EV industry and its broader global implications, contributing to an enhanced understanding of the industry’s competitive structure and development trends. |
