Abstract: Amid the transformative repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic, this study underscores the critical need for libraries to evolve beyond simple digitization towards achieving robust digital resilience, positioning it as foundational for sustainable development. By delving into the relatively unexplored domain of digital resilience in the library sector, this investigation conducts a comprehensive literature review to establish its core principles. An in-depth case study of Taiwan's National Central Library demonstrates the practical application of digital resilience in fostering sustainable development, highlighting the library’s strategic efforts to overcome digital transformation challenges. This research elucidates the integration of digital resilience strategies within library management, emphasizing how such strategies can drive sustainable advancement for organizations and society. The findings enrich the discourse on leveraging digital transformation to achieve long-term sustainability, showcasing the National Central Library as a model for libraries worldwide.
