| Abstract: | 本研究探討大學籃球隊隊長的個人表現與團隊表現差異對比賽結果的影響，以臺灣大專籃球聯賽（UBA）男子第一級為研究對象。儘管領導力在團隊運動中被認為是關鍵因素，但目前對於隊長在比賽中的統計影響仍缺乏實證研究。本研究旨在填補此研究空缺，評估隊長的個人數據是否顯著影響球隊的勝率。
本研究使用 2023 年 UBA 官方比賽數據，透過相關分析、邏輯迴歸模型、勝率比估計及邊際效應分析，評估關鍵績效指標與比賽結果之間的關係。分析分為三個層面：團隊層級數據分析、隊長個人數據分析，以及整合模型分析。研究結果證實，團隊層級的數據，如投籃效率（兩分球與三分球命中率）、進攻籃板與失誤控制，是勝率的最重要預測因子。隊長層級的表現中，助攻與防守籃板對比賽結果產生正向影響，而失誤則顯著降低勝率。然而，隊長的個人得分效率並未顯示出對比賽勝負的決定性影響，這表明在隊長層面，組織進攻與防守貢獻比得分能力更重要。
本研究結果對於教練決策、球員培養與隊長選拔提供了實務上的啟示，強調個人領導力與整體團隊執行力之間的平衡。雖然隊長在比賽中扮演著關鍵角色，但整體球隊戰術與表現仍是決定勝負的主要因素。未來研究應擴大數據範圍至多個賽季，並結合進階籃球數據分析與質性研究方法，以更全面評估隊長在團隊成功中的作用。
This study examines the impact of team performance differentials and captain-specific performance metrics on game outcomes in the University Basketball Association (UBA) Division I Men’s College Basketball League. While leadership is widely recognized as a crucial factor in team sports, empirical research quantifying the statistical influence of team captains on game success remains limited. This study aims to bridge this gap by evaluating whether captains’ individual performances significantly contribute to their team’s probability of winning.
Using official game records from the 2023 UBA season, this study employs correlation analysis, logistic regression models, odds ratio estimation, and marginal effects calculations to assess the relationship between key performance indicators and game outcomes. The analysis is structured into three components: team-level performance analysis, captain performance analysis, and a comprehensive model integrating both factors. The results confirm that team-level statistics, including scoring efficiency (two-point and three-point percentage), offensive rebounding, and turnover minimization, are the strongest predictors of winning probability. Regarding captain-specific contributions, assists and defensive rebounds positively influence game outcomes, while turnovers significantly reduce the likelihood of success. However, scoring efficiency by captains was not found to be a decisive factor in determining wins, suggesting that playmaking and defensive efforts contribute more substantially to team success.
These findings provide practical implications for coaching strategies, player development, and leadership selection in collegiate basketball. The study highlights the importance of balancing individual leadership with overall team execution, emphasizing that while captains play a vital role in facilitating plays and securing possessions, broader team dynamics ultimately shape game outcomes. Future research should expand on these results by incorporating multi-season datasets, advanced basketball analytics, and qualitative leadership assessments to provide a more comprehensive evaluation of captaincy and its role in team success. |
