Complex networks of coupled nodes, in which each node is a dynamical system, have been widely exploited to model many complex systems in sciences, engineering and society, and have attracted much attention in recent decades. Time delays are ubiquitous in many natural and artificial systems. Thus, such delays have been incorporated into network modeling. Dissipativeness which implies the existence of globally attracting set, is a basic and important property imposed on the considered systems in the study of global asymptotic behaviors. On the other hand, synchronization is an important and common phenomenon in various biological and physical systems. Consequently, synchronization of complex networks has drawn a wide range of research interest in number of research areas such a engineering, biology, and physics. Cluster synchronization of complex networks has attracted considerable research interest in the recent years. Summarizing the existing works in the literature, many of the systems considered for tackling cluster synchronization problems exhibit linear couplings with delays or without delays. To the best of our knowledge, an approach for global cluster synchronization of nonlinearly coupled systems with coupling delays is still in demand. Thus, in this project, we want to investigate the dissipativeness and global cluster synchronization of nonlinearly coupled non-identical systems with delays.
