This thesis presents an innovative approach to Japanese language education that leverages artificial intelligence (AI), streaming platforms, and social networking services (SNS) to create an effective learning environment. Led by a cross-cultural communication expert, it focuses on Taiwan's unique market, where interest in Japanese language and culture is growing.
The 'Speak Up In 2 Months' course, a central case study, uses AI tools and contextual streaming content to facilitate rapid language learning. The course integrates platforms like Duolingo, Netflix, and Line to offer immersive, practical learning experiences in real-world scenarios. Additionally, cultural activities such as cooking clubs and drama binge-watching nights enhance the cultural understanding of students.
The research highlights the effectiveness of using AI, streaming, and SNS in language education, emphasizing personalized learning, increased engagement, and community building. The thesis also discusses the model's scalability, proposing strategies for global expansion from Taiwan.
Key findings show the impact of AI-driven learning, the contextual benefits of streaming, and the community-building power of SNS. This research offers a scalable, tech-enabled model for Japanese language education adaptable to various cultural contexts worldwide.
