Abstract: | 本研究探討數位載具融入國小四年級英語教學,對於學生之自主學習動機及成效之影響。本研究採準實驗研究法,研究對象為新竹縣小學167位四年級學生。取得學生家長之同意後,進行為期十週之實驗教學,並以英語自主學習動機量表與縣市學生學習能力測驗四年級英語科聽力測驗之前後測分數進行統計量化分析。經過統計分析後得到結論如下:
一、經過實驗教學,實驗組(數位載具融入教學)之學生整體英語自主學習動機顯著提升。表明數位載具融入英語教學能顯著提升國小四年級學生的英語自主學習動機,尤其是在工具性、對異文化的興趣和降低被動性層面有顯著效果。
二、數位載具融入英語教學和日常英語教學均能顯著提升國小四年級學生的英語拼讀學習成效,兩種教學方法在提升效果上沒有顯著差異。
三、英語自主學習動機方面,女生及在家有使用數位載具學習之學生於實驗教學後皆有顯著提升。
四、英語拼讀學習成效方面,不同性別並無顯著差異;而在家使用載具之學生表現顯著高於在家未使用載具之學生。
最後,研究者依照本研究之結論,在校園推動數位載具融入英語教學、教師協助學生使用數位載具學習等方面提出相關建議,並提供未來相關主題之研究參考。 This study investigates the impact of integrating digital devices into fourth-grade English teaching on students' motivation for self-directed learning and their learning effectiveness. A quasi-experimental research method was adopted, involving 167 fourth-grade students from elementary schools in Hsinchu County. With parental consent, a ten-week experimental teaching program was conducted. Statistical quantitative analysis was performed using the pre-test and post-test scores from the English Self-directed Learning Motivation Scale and the English listening test from the county's fourth-grade student learning ability test. The conclusions drawn from the statistical analysis are as follows:
1. After the experimental teaching, students in the experimental group (integrating digital devices into teaching) showed a significant improvement in their overall English self-directed learning motivation. This indicates that integrating digital devices into English teaching can significantly enhance the English self-directed learning motivation of fourth-grade students, especially in the areas of instrumental motivation, interest in foreign cultures, and reduced passivity.
2. Both the integration of digital devices into English teaching and regular English teaching significantly improved the English spelling learning effectiveness of fourth-grade students, with no significant difference in the effectiveness of the two teaching methods.
3. In terms of English self-directed learning motivation, both girls and students who used digital devices for learning at home showed significant improvement after the experimental teaching.
4. Regarding English spelling learning effectiveness, there was no significant difference between genders; however, students who used digital devices at home performed significantly better than those who did not use devices at home.
Finally, based on the conclusions of this study, the researcher provides relevant suggestions for promoting the integration of digital devices into English teaching in schools, assisting teachers in helping students use digital devices for learning, and offers recommendations for future research on related topics. |
