    Abstract: 本計畫從民意角度討論近期日益重要的兩岸軍事衝突問題。不同於傳統有關軍事安全的研究多數從政治領導人的決策過程著手，討論決策者的信念、策略、以及跨國之間的合縱連橫，本研究從個體角度的民眾出發，了解台灣民眾如何認知兩岸軍事衝突的可能性，以及探索那些因素影響這樣的認知。這樣的研究除了提供既有安全議題不同的理論視角之外，更凸顯出作為一個民主國家的台灣，安全政策納入民意的必要性。對既有理論的檢討，以及兩岸實務面的發展，都可以提供即時且堅實的助益。
