    Title: Utilizing Design Thinking to Develop AR/VR Courseware to Promote Pre-service Teachers’ TPACK

    Abstract: This study intends to promote pre-service teachers’ TPACK by adopting Design Thinking as a guiding approach and AR/VR as technological tools. Pre-service teachers learned AR/VR software and followed the five-step Design Thinking procedures to create courseware for children to learn Chinese. Results showed that pre-service teachers significantly increased their total survey scores, as well as TK, TCK, TPK, and TPACK dimensions. More intricate results and discussions will be reported by the time of conference presentation.
