| Abstract: | Rap Battle文化起源於非裔美國人的社區街頭，輾轉傳入台灣後歷經超過20年以上的發展，其受容、發展軌跡以及與台灣社會文化之間的關係，是一項尚未被發掘與受到關注的議題。因此，本研究論文主要聚焦於台灣Rap Battle賽事的表演分析，以Diss RBL為案例，透過言說分析（Discourse Analysis）的研究方法取徑，嘗試探討其與台灣社會文化的連結性，以及驗證本研究論文所提出、定義的「本土意象」概念，是否存在於Diss RBL當中。
而根據本研究論文的分析結果，「本土意象」確實存在於Diss RBL的表演中，「本土」與組成架構有關，由「台灣社會文化中的Battle MC與觀眾」、「台灣社會文化中的事件」與「台灣社會文化中的思想」三者所構成；而「意象」則涉及到了「表演對於形象的描繪」，以及「表演對於意識的建構」。透過「本土」與「意象」的結合與作用，建構並呈現了「本土意象」的概念，使得Diss RBL與台灣社會文化產生連結，甚至相互有所影響；同時也能夠發現到，台灣Rap Battle文化與其表演展現出特有的風格與脈絡，有別於其他國家的Rap Battle文化，蘊含著獨特性與專屬性。
Rap Battle originated in the streets of African American communities, and after making its way to Taiwan, has been over 20 years. But, its reception, development, and connection with Taiwan's society and culture still remain an underexplored and less addressed subject. Thus, this thesis primarily focuses on the performance of Rap Battle matches in Taiwan, and taking “Diss RBL” as a case study. Through the approach of discourse analysis, it attempts to explore the connectivity between Rap Battle matches and Taiwan's social and cultural context, and also validate whether the concept of "Indigenous Consciousness and Imagery（本土意象，Běntǔ Yìxiàng）" exists within Diss RBL.
Based on the research results of this thesis, "Indigenous Consciousness and Imagery（Běntǔ Yìxiàng）" indeed exists within the Diss RBL and its performance . The "Indigenous（本土，Běntǔ）" is associated with its structural components, comprising "Battle MCs and Audiences in Taiwan's society and culture," "Events within Taiwan's society and culture," and "Thoughts of Taiwan's society and culture." Meanwhile, "Consciousness and Imagery（意象，Yìxiàng）" involves the "depiction of images in performance" and the "construction of consciousness through performance." Through the combination and interaction of "Běntǔ " and "Yìxiàng", the concept of "Indigenous Consciousness and Imagery（Běntǔ Yìxiàng）" is constructed and presented, creating a connection between Diss RBL and Taiwan's society and culture, even influencing each other mutually. Simultaneously, it's evident that Taiwan's Rap Battle culture and its performances exhibit a distinctive style, setting them apart from Rap Battle in other countries, and even embodying uniqueness and exclusivity. |
