    Abstract: 石英元件是電子產業中的關鍵零組件,扮演猶如人體心臟的角色,能提供穩定參考信號讓電子系統間協調地進行運作,舉凡手錶、智慧型手機、高效能電腦、電信設備及車用電子等皆需使用此元件,在電子系統中扮演著極為重要的角色。近年來,隨著各種應用蓬勃發展,石英元件將走向小型化、高穩定度、低雜訊、寬溫域、高頻及高可靠度等趨勢需求,如何維持技術競爭優勢將是石英元件廠商重大挑戰。石英元件產業主要由日本廠商主導,全球市佔率在50%左右,其次為台灣廠商,全球市佔率約莫在25%,已是世界主要石英元件供應國之一。在高度競爭的產業環境下,本研究之台灣個案A公司仍不斷的成長,打破產業界慣例,登上全球石英元件市占第一,為世界市占前五大中唯一台灣企業,第二至第五名仍是日本廠商。
    個案A公司雖為市占第一,但在同業市場競爭、技術競爭優勢、地緣政治等議題下讓經營充滿挑戰。為了擬定個案公司持續成長的經營策略,本研究先對石英元件產業進行產業回顧並勾勒出其基本輪廓,之後採用動態競爭分析,探討與主要競爭對手之市場共同性-資源相似性議題以了解個案公司所面臨的競爭環境。此外,本研究採用策略鑽石模型對個案公司過往之經營策略做系統性分析,之後將上述結果以SWOT分析架構進行整理與歸納。最後,為延續個案在業界領先地位,本研究再次採用策略鑽石模型架構依據分析結果推論出個案公司持續成長所需的經營策略供經營者參考,希望本研究的結果將可對個案廠商在擬定企業成長策略的實務上有所幫助。
    Quartz components are key components in the electronics industry, acting like the heart of the human body, providing stable reference signal for coordinated operation of electronic systems, such as watches, smart phones, high-performance computers, telecommunication equipments and automotive electronics, etc., it plays an extremely important role in electronic systems. In recent years, quartz components will be trending towards miniaturization, high stability, low noise, wide temperature range, high frequency and high reliability to meet various applications and it shows how to keep the technological competitive advantage will be a major challenge for quartz component manufacturers. The quartz component industry is currently dominated by Japanese manufacturers, with a global market share of about 50%, followed by Taiwanese manufacturers, with a global market share of about 25%, and is already one of the world's major suppliers of quartz components. In a highly competitive industrial environment, we found Company A continues to grow, breaks industry conventions, and ranks No. 1 in the global quartz component market. It is the only Taiwanese company among the top five in the world market, ranking No. 2 to No. 5 is still a Japanese manufacturer.
    Although Company A has the largest market share, its operations are full of challenges due to the issues such as market competition, technological competitive advantages, and geopolitics. In order to formulate the business strategy for the sustainable growth of the case company, this study first conducts an industry review of the quartz component industry and outlines its basic outline, and then uses competitive dynamics analysis to explore the issues of market commonality and resource similarity with major competitors to understand the competitive environment. In addition, this study uses the diamond framework to systematically analyze the existing business strategy of the case company, and then organizes and summarizes the above results with the SWOT analysis. Finally, in order to maintain the leading position of the case in the industry, this study once again uses the diamond framework to deduce the business strategy needed for the continuous growth of company A for top manamagent reference. We hope the results of this study will be helpful for the Company A for formulating their corporate growth strategies in practice.
