    Abstract: 近幾年面對全球經濟結構轉型和金融科技進步的挑戰,再加上Covid疫情的衝擊,數位經濟和零接觸商機的發展變得迫切。數位轉型成為銀行業維持競爭力的關鍵,但這是一個涉及組織結構調整、策略改變和商業模式重塑的長期過程。
    台灣八大公股銀行歷史悠久、客戶群廣大,但也面臨著來自各方強勁的競爭;突破傳統文化和官僚體制,進行數位轉型成為其當前的重要課題。本研究通過對台灣銀行業的大調查,並以第一銀行為個案,探討其在數位轉型方面的成功經驗。
    研究發現,第一銀行的數位轉型成功主要歸功於四個關鍵要素:管理層的願景與承諾、清晰的數位轉型策略、充足的資源投入和數位化人才的培養;這些都可做為其他公股銀行進行數位轉型的參考。然而,數位轉型的核心仍在於「人」,故本研究也針對高層領導人、推動專案負責人、一般從業人員等三種角色,提供相關的轉型建議。
    最終,數位轉型是一個不斷演進的過程,需要以顧客價值和體驗為核心,利用數位技術,並通過資訊系統和人力資源的優化升級,全面重塑企業的組織框架和商業策略。隨著科技的不斷進步,企業需要持續探索新應用並進行調整。
    In recent years, the challenges arising from global economic structural shifts and FinTech advancements, along with the impact of the Covid pandemic, have heightened the urgency for the development of the digital economy and contactless business opportunities. Digital transformation has become crucial for public banks to sustain their competitive advantage, involving a comprehensive, long-term process of organizational restructuring, strategic overhaul, and business model redesign.
    Taiwan's eight major public banks, with their storied histories and broad customer bases, confront robust competition from multiple sources. Navigating through traditional cultural and bureaucratic impediments to embrace digital transformation is a significant contemporary challenge for them. This study undertakes an extensive examination of Taiwan's banking sector, with First Commercial Bank as a case study, to explore its successful experience in digital transformation.
    The study reveals that the success of First Commercial Bank's digital transformation can be primarily attributed to four pivotal factors: the leadership's vision and commitment, a clearly defined strategy for digital transformation, substantial resource investment, and the cultivation of digital talent. These factors can serve as benchmarks for other public banks in their digital transformation journeys. However, the core of digital transformation lies in the 'human'; thus, this study also offers transformational recommendations tailored for senior leaders, project managers, and general practitioners.
    Ultimately, digital transformation is a dynamic, progressive process that hinges on customer value and experience. Leveraging digital technologies, coupled with the optimization and enhancement of information systems and human resources, is imperative for a holistic reformation of organizational structures and business strategies. As technology continuously evolves, it's essential for enterprises to persistently explore new applications and adapt accordingly.
