This study focused on employees from Generation Y (born between 1981 to 1994) and Generation Z (born after 1995), exploring whether employee generation moderates the relationship between transformational leadership and employee work attitudes (job satisfaction, emotional exhaustion, work engagement, and turnover intentions). Through an online survey, 211 and 195 valid responses from Generation Y and Generation Z were collected, which made up 406 valid responses in total. The results of correlation and multiple regression analysis showed a positive relationship between manager transformational leadership and employee work attitudes, but the moderating effect of employee generation was not significant. Finally, the limitations of this study and future management practice recommendations based on the research findings were discussed.
