Abstract: The proposed business plan is centered around the creation of a furniture as a service framework, called "Circular IKEA," that will provide a hassle-free furniture solution to commercial clients in Taiwan. The primary goal of this initiative is to promote a more sustainable and better everyday life for a large number of corporate customers. Through this framework, businesses can easily access and use high-quality furniture without having to worry about maintenance or disposal. This approach will not only help businesses save time and money but also contribute to reducing the environmental impact of their operations.
This thesis aims to investigate the market potential of furniture as a service in Taiwan by conducting a comprehensive market research. The research will define the scope of the furniture as a service industry in Taiwan and generate a business plan that can be implemented in the region. The study will also identify and outline the benefits of furniture as a service, including cost effectiveness, flexibility, maintenance, cash-flow management, tax benefits, and sustainability.
To ensure the practicality and relevance of this report, the study will take all relevant factors into account to create a comprehensive and realistic business plan. By conducting a thorough analysis of the market landscape and considering all relevant factors, this research aims to provide insights that can inform the successful implementation of a furniture as a service framework in Taiwan.
