Abstract: | 本研究旨在探討ESG執行策略與家族企業二代接班之間的關聯性,以台灣上市櫃公司為研究對象,共有320家公司作為樣本。過去的研究主要著重於分析家族企業績效與接班的關係,而本研究則以探討ESG執行策略在家族企業接班關係,研究結果顯示,高ESG分數代表企業在環境、社會和公司治理方面的表現越積極和良好。本研究所觀察的家族企業在2018年至2020年期間的高層管理者變動情況,以推測是否存在潛在的接班意向。結果指出,高ESG分數反映了企業對可持續經營和長期發展的重視,這對加速家族企業的接班產生影響。具有接班意向的家族企業往往具有較高的ESG分數,過去的研究主要著重於企業績效和財務指標,而忽略了ESG因素在家族企業接班中的作用。本研究的結果強調了ESG執行策略對於家族企業接班的重要性,並提供了實證支持。以康舒科技為例,該家族企業在ESG方面表現出積極的態度,致力於綠能和永續發展,並推動聯合國永續發展目標。這與本研究的結果相符,即高ESG分數有助於提升家族企業的接班意向和成功傳承。康舒科技的案例進一步突顯了ESG執行策略在家族企業接班過程中的重要性,以及其對於企業長期發展和可持續經營的影響。 This article intends to discuss the correlation between ESG efforts and business succession in Taiwan. The research is achieved by combining the dataset that consists of 320 Taiwanese firms` ESG scores, which describes their devoted ESG efforts, with business sucession intention, which is revealed in the annual financial reports. The results show that high intention of business succession tends to exert high ESG efforts. Several empirical case studies are also included to reflect the robustness of the current result. |
