    Abstract: 近年來雲端技術蓬勃發展,企業為利用雲端在彈性、速度和成本效益上的優勢,也開始加速數位轉型的進程,從傳統的內部部屬模式轉移至雲端部屬。HPE在面臨企業上雲、IT採購模式改變的衝擊下,於2019年宣布其即將轉型為一間服務型公司,也就是從原本傳統的產品銷售模式,轉型為訂閱制、依使用量付費的服務模式,並且承諾在 2022年前,所有產品組合皆可透過服務來提供。

    本研究使用個案研究法,蒐集了HPE官方資料、學術與研究機構資料、專業書籍等次級資料,並以商業模式圖作為分析架構,來探討HPE是如何從產品型商業模式轉型為服務型商業模式。從本研究中可以了解到HPE如何調整其收益模式,並改變其銷售方式及與顧客的關係,來滿足顧客數位轉型的需求;同時在研發及管理活動上HPE是如何調整策略,並選擇合適的生態圈合作夥伴,來發展出完整的雲端服務解決方案。
    The growth of cloud computing has been rising in recent years. To take advantage of the flexibility, speed and cost-effectiveness of the cloud, enterprises have accelerated the process of digital transformation, moving from on-premises to the cloud. Faced with changes in IT procurement strategy by customers, in 2019, HPE announced that it will offer its entire portfolio as a service by 2022 through a range of subscription, pay-per-use and consumption-driven offerings.

    This research used case study method, collecting secondary sources such as HPE official materials, academic and research institutions, professional books, etc., and used business model as the framework to analyze how HPE transformed from a product-based business model to a service-based business model. From this research, we can see how HPE adjusted its revenue model as well as changed its sales approach and relationship with customers to meet their digital transformation needs. Furthermore, we can observe how HPE modified its strategy in R&D and management, and selected partners in cloud ecosystem to develop comprehensive cloud service solutions.
