Purpose: To investigate the effects of music interventions and time periods on the performance of darts by university students. Method: The study was conducted on 12 students enrolled in darts course at National Taiwan University of Science and Technology. The control group (no music) was conducted directly with the darts count up test, while the music context group (Mid, upbeat music) was conducted before the darts count up test. with 10 minutes music intervention, the experiment was conducted in two sessions, at 8:10am and 1:25pm respectively. The statistical method used was the two-way repeated variance analysis, and the statistical software SPSS 24.0 was used as the tool for data analysis. SPSS 24.0 was used as the tool for data analysis. Results: The music context was significant while the time and music interaction did not reach a significant difference. The results showed that the dart performance was better without music. Conclusion: This study concludes that darts is a precision sport, the importance to reduce interference beforehand and focus on the current movement during the sport is more beneficial to their performance.
